Assistant (Entry Level)

We are seeking a highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic individual to join our Armidale team.

We are looking for someone to grow with our business.

As a highly organised individual, you’ll be comfortable taking on a variety of tasks and thrive in a dynamic workplace where you may be expected to juggle multiple tasks at once, primarily providing administrative support to our team.

The successful candidate must have great attention to detail and be adaptable to working with different departments in varying capacities.

The successful candidate will require an ability to prioritise and multitask. 

About the role.

This position is based in our lively Armidale office. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, this position will see you working with our talented and creative marketing team. You must be a team player and an avid learner who is excited about the prospect of growing within the team.

 

Experience: Would be great, but we can train you.

Location: Armidale, NSW, Australia

Job Type: Full-time (38hrs/week)

Key responsibilities.

  • Management of outbound and inbound communication, primarily through the telephone. This will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Fun coordinator: this role has a focus on building and maintaining a positive and friendly office culture through the organisation of frequent office activities and the maintenance of the current office environment.

  • Small project coordination using our internal job management system and the team in our Armidale, Tamworth, Wollongong and Sydney offices.

  • Compiling and preparing reports, correspondence and presentations.

  • Implementing and maintaining administrative systems and procedures.

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Assisting with the purchasing, invoicing, reimbursements.

  • The ability to work autonomously and with little fuss, while maintaining the regular function of the office on a daily basis.

  • A team player.

  • General office management and admin support.

About you.

  • An interest in and knowledge of marketing is desirable.

  • Previous administrative experience would be valuable but we are interested in a highly motivated individual who can get the job done and who is willing to learn.

  • Excellent computer and typing skills are required. You will need to have an understanding of G Suite and be comfortable using both PC and Mac computers.

  • You will need to possess excellent communication and people skills.

  • The ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team environment.

  • A very strong eye for detail.

  • Great time management skills.

  • A willingness to assist núcleo in reaching its goals and objectives.

  • A well presented individual who is enthusiastic and has a friendly personality.

  • A self-motivated individual who will take initiative to get tasks done

  • A natural organiser, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks at any given time from multiple departments.

  • You’ve got the ability to have fun and just be yourself, be respectful of everyone’s views and opinions and be a team player.

  • An individual who takes pride in their work, down to the smallest detail.
