Thompson Health Care are industry leaders in quality Aged Care Services with over 75 years of history in the industry.

They demonstrate excellence in everything they deliver, and wanted their website to reflect their brand values of quality, integrity and respect for individuals. They also wanted to showcase their network of homes across NSW which provide luxury, dignity and independence for their residents. 

What we did


Thompson Health Care came to nucleo for a new look in their branding, a new website and to showcase their growing network as an Australian owned family business in aged care residential communities. 

It was important to keep the recognisable elements of the Thompson Health Care logo which is steeped in history and well recognised in New South Wales.  From our starting point,  we worked on the colour palette and finally developed a suite of assets and brand guidelines to compliment the new vision including badges, fonts and text formatting styles and standards. Our graphic design team were able to extend their new look into high quality marketing items including stationery, brochures and newsletters in both digital and print. Later in the process we redesigned all the printed and digital collateral to match the new look of the website with impressive results.

Website design and development

We refreshed the branding and applied this to the website, adding tools so that prospective leads could find a residential home close to them geographically and telling the Thompson Health Care story through accurate imagery, a user-friendly website design and improved content.

Well-designed forms also simplified the processes for website enquiries and tour bookings as well as improved opportunities to recruit new staff and showcase news articles.

The new website is a showcase for an enhanced lifestyle socially, mentally and physically with care and services, gardens and courtyards, allied health professionals, hairdressers, outings and other onsite activities, and our website needed to reflect the evolving needs of the residents and the business. It also needed to reflect a professional, high quality and timeless, luxurious feel for prospective residents and their families. . 

Our approach


We started this process by determining all the needs attached to Thompson Health Care’s brand and outcomes and meeting with them to discuss every element that was important. Key to their requirements was to ensure that their established reputation was not compromised throughout the process. By focusing on their established client base and their future vision we were able to determine what branding and website design would fit. Similarly, we captured all the information about each client set and their requirements from the website. 


A redo of all the printed items commenced for brochures, business cards, letterheads and digital pdfs used in the business were updated. . All website pages also contain the pdfs, allowing clients to view or print immediately from the website, helping to increase the  communication process for all stakeholders. The website project was managed successfully from beginning to end with key stakeholders inputs reiterated and provided throughout the process. 


The team at Thompson Health Care were very happy with the outcome – a cohesive website which helped them to communicate quickly and effectively to customers and stakeholders, and the provision of updated forms and information available to be downloaded from their website. Their timeless appeal in the branding elements build a customer service experience that was applauded by their customers.
