Transtage required an e-commerce website to display their various portable stage configurations and event equipment, providing detailed information and facilitating online purchases, particularly highlighting any current special offers. The website needed to cater to event organisers, schools, and other entities requiring portable staging solutions.
Design
The website design provides clear product presentation with high-quality images and detailed specifications for each stage and piece of equipment. Easy navigation allows customers to browse different stage types, sizes, and accessories. Customers are able to get a quote on equipment specific to their requirements, and when available buy currently available stock. The overall design is professional and informative, catering to a business-oriented audience.
Development
The website was built on a custom WooCommerce theme to manage product listings, inventory, pricing (including specials), shopping carts, and the checkout process. Key development aspects included detailed product pages with dimensions, weight capacity, setup instructions (if applicable), and an easy quote option. The system can showcase any “current specials” and allow customers to get a delivery quote prior to purchasing.
